Daniel J. Rice IV

Daniel Rice joined EQT’s Board of Directors in November 2017 and currently serves as a member of the Public Policy and Corporate Responsibility Committee. He is the Chief Executive Officer of NET Power and a partner of Rice Investment Group. Daniel served as a Director and Chief Executive Officer of Rice Energy from October 2013 through the completion of its acquisition by EQT in November 2017. Prior to his role as Chief Executive Officer of Rice Energy, Daniel served as Chief Operating Officer of Rice Energy from October 2012 through September 2013 and as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Rice Energy from October 2008 through September 2012. Daniel also served as a Director and Chief Executive Officer of the general partner of Rice Midstream Partners from August 2014 through November 2017. Prior to joining Rice Energy, he was an investment banker for Tudor Pickering Holt & Co. in Houston. Before Tudor Pickering, Daniel was Senior Analyst of Corporate Planning for Transocean. Daniel was previously a director of Archaea Energy from September 2021 until its acquisition by BP Products North America in December 2022, and was previously a director of Whiting Petroleum from September 2020 until July 2022 when Whiting Petroleum combined with Oasis Petroleum to form Chord Energy. Daniel has also served on the board of NET Power since 2023.
